I like quilts that . . .
- Have many bright, beautiful, colorful fabrics
- Are made with a challenging pattern of many pieces, (the more the better)
- Are more modern than traditional
- Have a different or interesting design
- Have clear, bright colors
- Are soft and warm with a minimum of quilting
- Current favorite designers are Jason Yenter and Kaffee Fassett
This is a great topic, thank you for starting it. While I understand there is a great reward to giving a quilt to someone who really loves it. My main motivation for quilting is to learn and challenge myself and make the quilts "I" want to make. If someone loves it, great. If not, I really don't care. There are many charities that are glad to get my quilts.

Thanks for that website and the fact that she states the free patterns can be copied and "shared" with friends/guild members, but not for sale.....smart lady, great way to advertise.....
