Yes, and trust me I do my share of that especially since I am somewhat of a night owl to boot.

Sounds like a dream job to me. I have been in the craft business for years, well, my whole life really. But a good part of it I was doing stuff for someone else. Making things for her to sell. And after making the same item 5000 times, or more, well, it is not so fun anymore.

I am on my own now, as far as crafting goes, and would really love to find something I can do that makes an actual income again. I decided to start making my own things and doing stuff I enjoy. Instead of getting paid a 5th of what someone else can sell what I make for.

I so admire someone that can do something they love and make money doing it. You are my hero, or heroine, whichever the case may be.

Thank you so very much for saying that. I have worked regular jobs for many many years. But after this last year and taking time off to spend with my dad thru his last months I really didn't want to go looking for another job. My son is the one who encouraged me to take the leap and invest in the longarm and try to do something I really enjoy doing. For years he has listened to me talk about getting a longarm and doing the quilting instead of waiting 3 to 4 months just to get my own quilt tops finished. Plus my husband is patient while I get this up and going to the point that it will sustain itself. I have already done over 100 quilt tops since the first of this year with the majority of those being for American Hero Quilt charity. I really enjoy making or doing things with my hands especially the quilts and the hand carve candles that I do. I hope things continue to improve as time goes on. I hope you have someone to encourage and support your efforts as well - because I truly couldn't have done it without them.

    Thanks again,
    Sherryl
