I just had a customer come pick up her king size quilt and not more than 15 minutes later the postman brought me three more quilt tops from people here on the board. I just love my job. It is like Christmas all the time around here with opening packages with beautiful quilt tops in them. Yes, the beautiful quilt tops do go back to the owners but they are temporarily mine to enjoy while I quilt them. They give me such joy and pleasure while I work on them. Thanks everyone! I guess that also means I need to get off of here and get busy quilting again :D .

WOW you are busy lady (gent?)! My hubby seems to like the quilts I quilt for others more than the ones I do for myself. I do enjoy them and love to look at pics too.

So many of us have jobs tht we are unhappy with. I worked for 10 years with a company and hated my job but the pay was excellent. I keep it until we had a major layoff in the 80's. I went to work for a company and I loved it was very stressful but for me it was invigorating. until owners did a no-no and closed. :-( Now I have the best job, it is Christian family owned and stress free. :thumbup: But to have a job that you love to do at the same time and stay home O"My that sounds like heaven to me. :thumbup:
