EVERYONE is so kind and welcoming. I joined this QB a few months ago and I read this every morning before work (just like the morning newspaper). I have learned sssssooooo much and there is not any question that cannot be answered here. I truly consider this "my unseen, new, best friends"! This has opened a whole new world for me. I can't wait to be able to show "my first quilt"! :D

I love it because it's like it's like we've always known each other. Sharing ideas, getting and giving inspiration and people really care how you are and willing to share. Just a great bunch of people from all over.

I got confused when I read the title. I thought quarterback , after reading the post fom our Wisconsin friend I'm still rooting but this time for the Quilting Board.I love our team, every member brings a contribution giving advice, sharing experience, rooting for the others, welcoming newcomers. Just like a good football team aiming at being champions, each of us want to do the perfect quilt. There is one big question i am debating the Packers or the Steelers! Too bad your husbands don't do quilting.

I feel like I have so many friends that are interested in the same th8ngs I am. Also by thier names and where they live, and surely by the animals, as I`m an animal lover, they all seem like I`ve known them a long time. I`m looking to put a picture of one of my animals in, but can`t decided on a driving horse, mini Shetland pony, Donkey, goats , chickens or rabbits.

pretty much ditto on what every one else said. This is the place I come when I am not feeling well to do anything else. Keeps me connected to other quilters. And I can be guaranteed at least one smile a day

I'm getting older and none of the few people come around me are quilters. When I am feeling lonely I get on here and feel like I am in a group of friends. I have gotten so many ideas from other quilters and appreciate that. God Bless you for making my days happy ones.
