In thrift store look for fabric in the arts and crafts bins and also the hanging table linens!

Score! Congratulations on a super find!!! It makes me feel better about the times when I have cleaned out
my own stash and wondered if someone else found it and really appreciated it!! One woman's clean out, is
    another woman's treasure!!

I scored at my local Salvation Army today! I bought 6 batik (100% cotton) scrub tops for $6. I am doing the happy dance. I find that the scrubs are about 1+ yards of fabric each and batik to boot. Yay!

Congratulations on the great find ... I've never found anything like that at any thrift shop I've visited. I still go in them ... just in case.

I wanted about a third of the fabric on that table, but I limited myself to some large 100% cotton pieces I can use as quilt backs.

I got 2 matching floral pieces that were 9+ yards each and a solid piece that was 13 yards. Paid $41 after tax; so that's about 75 cents per yard. And they're in perfect colors to go with a set of quilts I'm making right now and need backs for, so these aren't going into the stash, they'll get used right away! None are marked on the selvage as to who made it but it feels like good solid fabric. Nice and clean, too, and no fading on the folds - someone obviously took good care of their fabric.

WOOHOO! I feel like I really scored.
You done good! I'd have never made it out for less than $100.

Congratulations! My local Goodwill store often has fabric that you know some relative of a recently passed relative just wanted to get rid of and oh I hope that former quilter knows that her fabric will be used with much joy.

Our Goodwill store gets fabric in regularly. I find some great deals. If someone ever informs them how to price for value I will be in trouble. I find some really large pieces of good quality fabric for nominal prices.
