I made a tiny hole in my quilt
I was almost finished with the quilting on this project when for some reason I had a thread jam that pulled the backing fabric into or very close to, the needle hole. I thought I was being very careful cutting the threads to loosen the snag but must have caugh a couple of fabri threads also. I appliquéd a small Applipop cirlcle to cover and protect the flaw. Is this acceptable? Should I cover it with the quilt label instead? The flaw is about 7 inches in from lower left corner of the back. Kind of an awkward place for a label I think.

I did the same thing except it was at the end of the day and I was impatient. I put a hole both on the top and the bottom so I ended up appliquéing a patch on both the top and the bottom and I could not find the exact match for the top so I used the closest I could find and so far, nobody has said "oh look at that patch!" And it is a quilt I use frequently. No worries I say.
