I love your bag, and admire your creativity. Seeing your quilt top reminds me of how much I enjoyed making that pattern. Maybe time to do another?

I too, have swapped out priorities of projects. Made a scrappy Jacob's Ladder that was going to have a border of 20 scrappy Ohio Star blocks. Hated how it was coming out with the two blocks together. Took the Ohio Star blocks and put them on the design wall. Those Ohio Star blocks became their own gorgeous quilt, and was then brought to the Long Arm quilter and was done in record time. Then I went back and finished that Jacob's Ladder and did not mix any other blocks in, and I must say that came out really well too.

oh my gosh YES. In fact i have the scrap quilt on the rack now and the original quilt that made a lot of the scraps for said quilt (not all of them, but a lot of them) is still in pieces in a ziploc bag. LOL. BTW LOVE your WIP and your bag.

great bag! beautiful colors. I often get side tracked, but have not yet deviated from my original fabric/pattern plan.

This is almost like, "which came first-the chicken or the egg". I like the concept. And, I really think your kalaidoscope project is beautiful.

Yes I have project ADD. I recently made a Gravity quilt and it still isn't finished but I have gifted a baby quilt and have another quilt made from the scraps. I also am notorious for looking in my stash for a fabric to add to a quilt and ending up starting another quilt. That is why I have so many UFO's.
