Have you ever turned your quilt scraps into a project before you even got the original quilt off the design wall? What can I say? I needed a grocery sack ;-)

LOL, you read it as being a little odd and I read it as being a little ADD thus easily distracted... can you tell all 3 of my kids and now most of my grandkids have ADHD? I'm sure my older brother did, and myself to a milder degree. We have that gene cornered.

The bag looks great. I think that I sometimes get either frustrated or bored with a large project and a smaller project in the middle makes sense to me.

Both your projects are wonderful!! I got a kick out of your dilemma - I often get carried away with my "leftovers" too! Somehow it was less stressful to deal with than the prescribed pattern, and I enjoyed getting creative. Recently, I've been thinking about this, and letting myself get more creative with the quilts also- I like combining the structured and controlled with my wild side.

I too suffer from ADD when it comes to quilting-that's why I have so many projects on the go! It's fun
