I think we call them "lurkers" rather than stalkers!

I had posted a picture of my quilt that I was entering in a quilt show and a lady from an applique group that I belong to 50 miles from me that I have known for several years said she saw it posted. I did not even know she was on here and still don't know what her Avatar is.

I found the Board through another Link & did a lot of reading here for several months before I got courage to start & sign up. I feel more comfortable on PDA because it's hard for me to explain myself in a few short words & I like to make close friends. We all have personal favorites so it's good that we have several options here. Thanks to Admin for listening & it's a swell group of folks, ladies & gents.

How old do you have to be to look like you can quilt????

I would rather be referred to as a lurker rather than a stalker.

BTW that is a nice set of racks you have. ;) ;)

I don't know. I'm 42 and started quilting 5 or more years ago. Went to a lqs for a sale and all the older ladies(all of them were 20 or more years older than me) just stood around and stared at my like I was playing with their favorite toy. I have had others tell me with a dirty look you quilt. So I don't know what it is about me, I just smile and say yes I do. That's why I shop WM fabrics they treat me like family

There was a thread a while ago about the age of people on this Board and there were many younger quilters here. You might be surprised by the age of whoever is on-line with you.

P.S. I can give you a few years though. :-(

Quilting Granny, I have always liked that picture of you. You have a twinkle in your eye and you look like you would have fun at anything you do. I'm not your stalker. Just another Granny. I am looking old and I don't know when it happened! I am 57 but do not tell anyone, because I will lie next time!
