What a tragedy!!! A fabric shop in walking distance!!! OH MY! You have my sympathy--grin. How lucky can you get? Maybe get a job there? At least you can scope out all the sales and bargains every day. Hope it turns out to be a really good store.

You need to realize, this is a blessing in disguise - less travel time to the shop, more time to spend looking and also to have your "color fix" so close to home. Like you've been told - great exercise, run to the shop for cardio and it's weight training on the way home - fabric isn't light, you know .....

hey, think of all the exercise you'll get, and all the weight lifting you'll do when you bring back your new additions to your fabric stash!! :)

Just think of all the money you save not driving besides walking is good for the soul.
