I'm with you. I try to piece as precise as possible but I quilt with love and that is the message I am trying to send. I love looking @ the perfect quilts and I have to admit I am inspired by them. :-D That doesn't mean I can make them that well :lol:

I was so caught up in the perfection mode when I first started, that I never finished anything. Once I decided it was okay if a point was 2 treads off I started to really enjoy the process.
If someone doesn't like my points.... Well too bad.

Here's the thing about perfection. If nobody gets hurt, it is not a mistake, it is a learning experience. Learn from it, correct it if you can do so without stressing out over it, and go on with a lesson learned! There are many learning experiences, or opportunities, in this world. Ours revolve around fabric, not people. Welcome opportunities to learn and relish the moment - this is how we grow as people and quilters!!

I do strive to cut and sew as accurately as I can..:), but that doesn't mean it's perfect.... As one lady told me, if you can't see a mistake galloping by on a horse from 20' away, then it's okay....:)

You are absolutely right. I fall in love with every quilt i make and every person that got a quilt from me open jaws with ahhhhh and love them too. I care about spending my time and money on a gift i had from God and the love and appreciation i get from people receiving them, not the stitch of the line or the blocks don't meet!!!!
Come on think about all the efforts and the hours we put in these quilts....
Summary....I DON"T CARE they are still beautiful and i always do my best to have nice gifts.
