Too funny! Although I have to agree, I don't like cutting anything off animals, especially really cute ones. :D

I understand completely! I hate cutting fabric animals up. I don't apologize though, but I usually feel bad. Especially when it's like a bunny head that will forever be on the quilt... without a body.

I'm not a huge fan of OBW with animals because of the lack of full animals. Some look great (comes to mind is the carp quilt posted recently... so cool) but some look kind of sad... a kaleidoscope of animal torsos...

Don't know but this one does. Got it from Walmart a long time ago.

Thanks for the laughs. My DH is wondering "what is she doing in the other room?"

too funny...I never had a fabric with critters on it....could be I would to the same...or cut in curves around the bugs....especially after todays hunt for worms with my grandchildren....and my grandson almost started to cry because I tried to pull one out of his hole because he looked different in the color, yellow...finally the worm was in my hand and startet to poop ...had to explain to kids...the poop is only soil the worm ate ;-)

Here I thought I was the only one who felt bad about cutting up harmless defenseless animals on fabric, LOL!! Oh this was a great thread to start my morning off!
