    My $150 Brother from the big box store is still working great after 13 years.......just saying. For the record, I have never used a bBernina so I have no opinion on them. People do rave about them, though.

    Pamela, I have the Juki 2010Q and it's a fantastic machine. However, it's straight stitch only as you know. I love that machine. I'm getting better at FMQ because of it. It also pieces like a dream. I had my Bernina in for service and used the Juki- what a nice machine! It was the first time I pieced on it.
