I don't think there is a single book that has everything, but The Art of Classic Quiltmaking by Harriet Hargrave and Sharyn Craig comes close. This was my first one, recommended by my LQS in Dade City, FL. I'm so glad I bought it. I've read and read it and when I'm ready to absorb some more, read that section again.

My "go to" is Better Homes and Gardens Complete Guide to Quilting, supplemented by Quilters Academy Vol. 1 - Freshman Year.
I am also a new quilter, so both these books are very helpful with plenty of pictures.
