I also like a rose color, maybe a little deeper rose or deeper blue. I,like others have found a color I never thought I would like is the one I end up choosing. Sometimes I will audition several colors, take a picture of them seperately, & then look at them a couple days later & I see them in a new light!

I would just try different fabrics by laying your blocks on them to decide. There's quite a bit of blue, so maybe a light yellow would be nice.
I guess it depends on the look you're going for; soft and gentle or that pop they're describing.

I also like the darkest burgandy in the flowers like Mitches Mom suggested.

Yes, I agree...some contrast would set off the blocks...instead of disappear. All depends on YOUR goals! Do you WANT to bring in your wall colors? There is always taupe, light/or/dark. Gosh, only YOU know when it's RIGHT! (smile)

I would lay several colors next to it and watch the changes in the way they look. White has a tendancy to wash out the colors it surrounds. Black or really dark colors will overwhelm and be center stage. Personally, I would go with a mid-range tone and use a color I love. A blue may be too much or just right for you. Any of the colors in your gorgeous fabrics or even a repeat of one of the fabrics would be great. Now that I have completely confused you, I will go fix supper.
