    I think I spend half of my sewing time ripping out what I've just done. Gotten worse as I get older, although my seam ripper and I have always been close. Hope you got this done in time!

    the problem would be on top if it was a bobbin tension problem- it is your top tension- and if you forgot to lower your foot that could be the problem- even with using a (hopping) free motion foot you have to lower it-
    we all forget once in awhile---since it kind of rides above---you just forget it....at least it's easy to remove- good luck-
