First off, I'm very sorry for your loss. What a terrible tragedy.

And your quilt is amazing. I've never actually seen a binding done like this. It's looking great. I'm trying to decide if I have the patience for doing it this way. But I'm thinking perhaps it doesn't take quite as much fabric (as in, you can use up the ends you have left over maybe???)

It's just going to look fantastic when you're all done. Good job!

oNT: tHAT'S SO SAD! mY FATHER WAS AN OFFICER IN THE SAME TOWN FOR 20 YEARS. MY heart goes out to the family.
Wondered why you weren't chatting me.
Love your binding, I like to do many colored bindings. It's going to look fantastic. Don't understand what you did with the t-shirts. Did you cover up your quilting?
Anyway, it is looking great! Haven't got much further. Told you my youngest moved out, well, he also made me a furry Grandmother this week. to a beautiful lab/retriever pup named Jasper. Maybe someday I will get the real thing, still I won't hold my breath.

ONT - so sorry about that officer. My heart goes out to his family and will send up prayers for them. My niece and nephew are EMT/fire fighters and my nephew is also the arson investigator for a major metropolis. I worry about them constantly when they are at work. I know the jobs are different but I worry about the dangers. And, yes, they have been shot at answering calls.

Your quilt - what can I say - it is absolutely outstanding and a work of art. I'm getting a wall ready to hang it (just in case) LOL

That really sucks about the officer getting killed. I hate to hear about idiots that kill good people like that.

The quilt is off the charts, man! That quilting in the border is superb, and the binding is phenomenal! :D
