Here is closeups. I love the gold outlineing in some of these fabrics. Any block or quilt ideas would help with this one. I only plan to use just what fabric is here, so it won't get out of hand. The dragon is 72" X 87" I had to add posterboard to the top sides to get the white border frame to stand out.

Thanks for the advice, I don't think I could move this big quilt enough to do anything that would need to be anything other than meandering...

I'll do that. The fabrics on the left side are only (fat quarters) I picked up a few geshias to. Do you think they would work into this new one?

Thanks to all that has kept an eye one me through this first quilt.

    Ray..

This one is nice...But I don't think is has the shine like the others

I was thinking this could be the center and as the fish came to the foreground they would get bigger with the fabrics

the repeat on this one is close

I really like the geisha fabrics, those would look great with the koi fabrics.

Think you can whip up some kind of magic, and point me in a direction that won't waste fabric. all of this is just so great looking "I don't know what to DOOOOOOO!"

How large is the print on those geisha fabrics? Can you lay a ruler across them so we can get a sense of scale?

No hurry... I still have the dragon to finish first... Don't want any UFOs on my hands. So everybody can just think on it for now.

    Thank you all.
