Well personally I felt your quilt was stunning, even though the judges didn't see fit to honor you w/ a ribbon I think you deserved one but most of all I love your attitude-entering a judged contest isn't for the thin skinned-you shined.

Judges have specific guidelines to follow with points to add or subtract for each thing. If you've been to a show that also have judges choice, they are quite often different from the show winners. If they didn't have guidelines to judge each quilt evenly with the others shown there would be no point of judging at all.
