    Default i need help

I am sewing white quilting blocks together. Should I iron the seams open? or iron them on one side or the other.
I have made other white blocks with the seams ironed open. Just need a suggestion.

Are you worried about the seams showing thru? Sometimes you can't help it. I'd try one each way and see which one you prefer.

to lessen the see through of the seams, use a very white batting.

Yes I was wondering if it would show through a lot. I will try either way. thanks so much for your help.

I prefer to iron my seams to the side - If you stitch in the ditch you've got fabric to stitch through - not just the stitching. Don't know if that makes sense to anyone.
