Since St Louis Cardinals cotton fabric is practically impossible to find, I'm trying to figure out how to make a quilt out of fleece. I don't want to do one of those tied-edges quilts. What else could I do?

What about mixing fleece and cotton? You could make a block with the fleece and then find cotton fabrics with coordinating colors and do a pinwheel or half square triangles etc and just alternate blocks..

I've only done rag quilts with flannel. How would I do the fraying with fleece?

I was having a hard time finding Cincinnati Bengals fabric until I contacted the team. If you wish to go back to cotton try, http://www.jandofabrics.com They might have what you want.

Wont be able to find Cardinal fabric I tried a couple of years ago and was told they took it off of the market because people were using it to make shirts and selling them, a real bummer.
