Default I need lots of help

I have finished my quilt. I am a ways from my LQS, so I picked up some coats and Clark brown machine quilting thread and stitched my binding on. I use aurifil ~ I washed and dried my quilt. The boards have come out from the binding in a few spots. What do I need to do to fix it?

    Thanks for your help.

Not sure what you are having trouble with. Looks like autocorrect played with your message.

I would just blind hem stitch the areas that are coming out. I usually do that before I pop the quilt in the washing machine but I do not see why it would not work after washing. Do we get a picture of your beautiful quilt? Congrats on getting another one done.

I think that should read "The borders have come out from the binding". I agree with Annaquilts---just turn under the binding again and stitch those areas closed by hand. Congratulations on finishing your quilt!

AGree to stitch it by hand. I don't think it is because you used a different thread though.

It might be that your binding was sewn on the quilt unevenly. If the border is separating from the binding in one place, then I agree, just anchor the border in place.

If it is separating in many places, then create another binding - larger, of course, - and re-bind over the existing binding, but make sure that the border is well secured all around.

I am so glad I don't have to take off the binding. I will stitch it by hand. I was so upset to see this but I guess that's why I wash it before sending it. Here is my Grandbaby's quilt (once I get it fixed)

Nice quilt! Sometimes it is hard to see if the binding is catching the quilt everywhere. I just hand stitch those kind of problems too.
