I am in the same trap but am trying to let myself relax. I will get inspired in time and now I can read or embroider or just relax. Don't fret. Your time will come/

My idea would be to turn on your radio to your favorite station, some thing with some spunky music and get in the mood, same as when you clean house, the music put you in a good mood, but no sad music.

Could be the time of year. I went through the same type of thing last year at this time.

Go to a quilt show. That really motivates me. I do more sewing the month after a quilt show than I do the month before one. I am finding it hard to do sewing right now, too. My sewing studio is in the lower part of the house with the living part upstairs. It is way colder down there and darker. I prefer to be upstairs. I am finding other projects I want to work on that I can later use in a quilt, like embroidery and needle turn applique. That way I feel I am getting something done.
