The super sized 9 patch is cute. I've printed the pattern out a couple times but never had the right fabrics to try it out. It only calls for 3 fabrics so it might not work for you.

My favorite, FAST, baby quilt is the Yellow Brick Road pattern. It goes together so quickly and I've never seen one that doesn't look terrific! One of the best things about this quilt is that I know in my head exactly what I need and can go assemble it or stop by the fabric store to buy what I need.. I highly recommnend this lovely quick pattern.

I made this with my 4H girls. They had no trouble making it. I made one quickly as an example, don't remember how long, it's been a while but I know it didn't take long. I only used 2 colors but I like the different colored small blocks too. This can be strip pieced.

I've taken block patterns and simply blown them up for baby quilts. One that uses 4 inch units is particularly easy to do this with because you can scale that up to 12 and end up with a 36 inch piece.
