    My friend made these place mats and asked me to quilt them for her. I keep looking at them but haven't come up with anything. I'd appreciate any ideas you may have! I'm still a beginner quilter so nothing too complicated, please! There are 6.

    Those are beautiful. I would quilt vertical lines the same width as the strips. It would carry the strip idea into the larger piece and help them relate. Also easy.

    When I saw it I think SITD on the right 3 strips and then quilt the pretty left side in a diagonol.

    Also quilting staight down in the center of the strips on the right is pretty too.

    meandering leaves on the printed area. Maybe cross hatching on the three strips on the right.
