    Those are gorgeous! I have no advice. Just admiring your gift. They are wonderful and look to be in very good shape.

    I just finished a SBS and I had used the method of stitching to iron on interfacing, turning, and fusing to blocks. I machine stitched using clear mono thread and appliqué stitch. I would use the clear for these little girls as they already have blk outlines. Mine are made of the old feed sacks, as yours appear to be. It will be a cherished quilt, and I agree about washing after finishing. I love these babies, most especially the black thread detail. I would not tho't of doing that. How great that all these quilters can get together and share ideas!
