Have fun with those scraps! You may want to check out Bonnie Hunter's website, www.quiltville.com. Read about her scrap users system and check out her many free patterns. Lots of good information there and she also has a good blog. :-) Laura

I have to share ...
About a week ago I posted on a thread that was about scrappy quilts. I love the ones I see on here and I posted that I could not wait, as a new quilter, to have scraps to make one. I received a message from one of the members here that for just the price of postage she would send me some scraps - she has quilted for a long time and would be glad to share. I received those scraps yesterday - AWESOME!!!!! I am so excited.
And a big THANKS to my scrap donor!!!!!! They will be put to good use!

Do followup on Sewplease's suggestion of Bonnie Hunter's website - lots of great scrap quilt ideas. Also take a look at the Scrappy Quilts section on this Board - terrific scrap quilt collection.

People on the board are wonderful.. I've gotten scraps from a couple of people..and I've also passed on scraps, or squares to others.. It's a little funny, but I don't have many pieces with yardage..Most of what I have is under a yard, but that is okay, as I really like working with scraps..
I presume this is the way it used to be, and all the sharing that went on in other generations..
