Doing binding is one of my things I love to do. Do the binding for a friend and that provides me with extra pocket money to buy more fabric.

The LA lady does binding for me.Nothing fancy, but done is better.
Truth is, I can't sew/quilt by hand....arthritis.Oh,well....binding was never a friend of mine

What part of quilting do you not like doing?

I should start a business binding......it relaxes me. I'd like to hire someone to make hst's for me. I hate them.

I am with you - I almost break out in a sweat at the thought of binding. I don't know why - one of the ladies at my guild has patiently taught me to miter the corners, I understand the process, the quilts I have bound came out great, but I hate the thought of doing it. And I have a king size quilt waiting to be bound! I think it might be the hand sewing. My hands don't work too well in damp weather, etc. But I do love it when the last stitch is taken!!!!

Part of the binding, the sewing on by machine, hate wrestling the quilt. I really like the hand sewing part. I am getting better at corners, recently saw a video about the "snouts" on the corners. I am self taught so don't know the proper way to do things until I stumble across the information. OH WELL, doubt anyone is checking my corners for SNOUTS.

I shy away from the borders. I have lots of middles done and fabric picked out for the borders, but can't seem to get to them. I've made some quilts with no borders, but some just need to have a border. I don't mind binding at all, even making it. I even like quilting the quilts.

That used to be me until I discovered spray basting on this board. I will never pin again! I use my bed and an old sheet to protect from overspray. So easy and fast. I can have a lap sized quilt ready to FMQ in about 10 minutes.

What I really hate to do is all the cutting.
Totally have to agree with this....spray basting where have you been all my life?

I hate sandwiching. I am with Gale and Caliquocat, sandwiching is awful, gotta make sure everything lines up right, don't get no snags or flub ups on the back, hate it.
