I'm with you on that one. One of my dogs insists on sitting at my feet while I sew and inevitably she has a festooned bottom!

I can definitely relate. I can be a "messy" quilter, although I try to put threads and pieces of fabric into a thick plastic bag taped to my sewing table. Most times the scraps end up there, if I'm lucky. I've been told that if you see someone with threads on their clothing - that they are a quilter.

I often get ready for church early on Sundays and then spend a couple hours in the sewing room before we leave... and more often than not spend the car ride picking little threads off my clothes.

So glad I'm not the only one. Was shopping in Penny's one day and this lady says are you a sewer? Sure enough, there were threads on my shirt. Then we laughed because she was the alteration lady who works in Penny's.

Glad to know I'm not alone! When working on a project, I have been known to have it in the following rooms: sewing, TV, office, dining & kitchen, bedroom & living room. My DH must really love me, because he puts up with it!

I had to laugh too. When we go to church my husband looks me over to see if I have any threads on me. starts picking them off. But that is just me. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one.

It's no use cleaning it up too much....I'm just going to make a mess again. LOL

I've learned (the hard way) to keep a lint roller in the car. That way, when I find those little scragglers, I can just zap 'em with my roller.

After watching the news reports about the explosion in the small town of West, Texas, and earlier in the week of the bombing in Boston Mass., this gave me just the right amt. of laughter to make my day begin in a good way. Please everyone pray for the families that have been affected in these two tragedies'.

Happens to me too....thinking of picking up one of those lint rollers -- especially helpful for those strings on my ironing pad my DH made for me.
