If she really wanted it she could have saved the money or paid it off before you gave it to her. BEWARE she may ask for her $25 back. I am glad you got more than what you asked for in the end. Congratulations.

This lady never gave me any money. I offered to lower my price by $25, but she still didn't want it.

In hindsight, I should have known better than dealing with her. She is my daughter-in-laws aunt, and this family is "known" for being rip offs. They are a strange bunch, I could tell you some stories you would never believe! LOL

She can call, but I am sure by now, knowing that I told my daughter in law I sold the quilt, she knows.

Oh, I will make the local gossip chain, AGAIN, and somehow be the bad guy. This family thrives on gossip and they are always the victim.

I don't care, the quilt is sold, it was never her quilt, and the man who bought it will take good care of it.

At least I got money for heating oil and can stay warm a few months! LOL

I am so happy that you sold it to someone who would appreciate it.

Good for you! I'm happy that you didn't loose out, the mailman gained and the lady lost her quilt. Serves her right....

I am glad then. Let them talk but if some one asks tell them it was the lady's fault, she did not want it when she had the chance. well done.

The mailman was probably thrilled at his luck in being able to buy such a beautiful quilt! I'm happy for you and him!

Thats great! I made a quilt for a lady and she has made payments. I gave the quilt to her with $145.00 to pay me. She has much $$$ but she is sending payments. I guess I am lucky?
