I've been working on the quilt and it's looking great! Thanks everyone for the help.
Yes, Loretta, the water is still very high. The city has had to cancel a national water ski competition because the water has not receeded. The road I live on is flooded at the bottom of hill. Water is covering the road and it is closed. Kind of nice for us because we don't have to hear all the traffic going by. I try to get a look at the river every day and buildings in the downtown area are still pumping water out of the basements.
Looks like we are supposed to get 3 more inches of rain by the end of the weekend.
I'll post some pictures later on tonight.
