Miranda, I know how frustrating it can be when not get alot of response. I've been lacking on my ebay store the last couple of months, was on vacation for a month(but kept it running) and now dealing with my broken back. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things real soon. But I have all my holiday shows coming up, so until the end of the year I am booked every weekend. Plus I have orders to fill and my inventory is getting low on certain things. Oh the stress of sewing.

Thanks for all the responses. I hardly have anything listed in my store right now for sale, anyway......a bunch of my auctions recently ended. I haven't had much internet time to relist...wasn't sure if I wanted to relist or close....it really takes time, something I have very little of these days.

Sharon, Heather and I ran off to that Quilting Paradise everyone was dreaming about a while back...NO...I've been busy, busy, busy with volunteering at school and chasing baby at home.

Heather moved and finally got her phone so she could have internet...

Life almost caught up with me, but I think I'm back.

Sorry you are thinking of closing up Miranda, but I did my part! I love the dolphin fabric! It is hidden away for "someday."

I think there must be a better way to sell your stuff. Ebay has a bad rep for people getting ripped off, or getting spam or viruses on their computer.

Hopefully just mentioning it here will help you!

I know. Thanks!!! That dolphin fabric is one of my favorites, too.

I think it will be better later on, when the kids get bigger. I can actually make projects and sell at craft fairs and things. I want to set up at the county fair one of these years and sell items. Right now, I've just been letting it go...they'll only be little once, so I'm trying to just focus on them for now. I've been having a lot of fun being so involved at school, too. :D

I sold $87 in the last 90 days, including items ppl didn't pay for. I paid $15.95 each month to have the store and web address. I could list my items cheaper in the store format, but that doesn't let ppl bid on the items. So, they have no chance of selling for more than the Buy-It Now Price...Each listing is about 8 cents the way I list. THen, eBay takes a final value fee, which is 10 percent for $25 and under. If it sells for more than $25, they charge 10% for the $25 and 7% of the remaining amount...and PayPal takes a percentage of the amount I am receiving on each payment (not sure how much it is, but it's around 10%+).....and I have to buy envelopes and boxes and tape...but Priority Mail boxes are free if you ship PM. I also print my own labels from my computer at USPS.com, so that's ink and paper, too. \

Miranda, I agree with the others on Etsy. My daughter sells purses, totes and other items on her store. She has had very good luck with it. Her store is called Peppermint Sky.
