I once spent hours and hours cutting up scraps into manageable strips and squares. It didn't make anymore room in my bins even though I purchased new bins specifically for the new strips. I'm pretty sure I could make only scrappy quilts for several years and not use all my scraps.

They don't decompose, it's the Sock Gnomes that invade your house after the Sand Man comes. They steal one sock but feel bad and leave some fabric scraps behind.

I think a little bit of monkey business happens in our scrap piles.......isn't it something?

Yup, can't turn your back on 'em for a minute. Now if only we could train them to clean up the sewing room while our backs are turned...

lol...they do!!! I've been making some wonky stars and trying to make a dent in my scraps. It doesn't even look I touched them. I am determined to get them all to fit in one bin instead of 5.

If I mention to the dogs I am short of a special fabric suddenly it or another turns up by my feet. During the night sometimes a fabric I haven't seen for ages will also appear including bras skirts trousers etc.on morning my tv handset was in bed with me. Oh and cushions and pillows more around the house. I assume if I had children it would be Mr Nobody.
