    Have to get me one. I love having my seams pressed open but also hate using an iron.

    I bought a new basic plan Jane one today, much smaller and lighter then the one I had. Revlon 1" for about $12 Walmart.

    I usually love Clover products but that tiny pressing thing is awful. Can't tell you how many times I burned my fingers with it. Out the door it went.

    Just wait, a Pretty Seam Presser will be on the market. I'm ahead of the game, I put a pretty quilt sticker on my flat iron. LOL

    If you are pulling it through the closed iron, doesn't that distort the seam line which is bias? (in my mind) that just adds more time to the job, trimming the blocks square afterward. Unless you are a make it bigger and trim it down quilter, which I'm not.

    It zips through and no distortion that I can tell. The open seam lays flat. It works for me.
