    I think it's pretty, and the yellow does not dominate it -- it is a nice blast of refreshing color admidst the blue!

    I love blue and yellow and the brightness is something I go for, so yours is great in my mind.

    The first color that speaks to me from your quilt is the deep blue, the yellow is very secondary. Your quilt is wonderful.

    Again, thanks everyone. My quilt thanks you too. I suspect it has been a bit upset with me for not appreciating how good it looked as I went. I am quite okay with it now. Just had to get used to it, I guess.

    Dina, If you take out the 2 darkest values of your yellow, the remaining yellow becomes kind of blah. You need those darker values to give a broader value range for the yellow areas. I think it would look odd to only have 4 values of yellow and many more of the blue. It's gorgeous and I'm glad it's grown on you and you feel it's a keeper. I think so too.
