I sent a rather large pkg of fabric to a board member so she could make her G-kids 4 of them quilts for Christmas. She did say they arrived and thank you, but when I ask her to post pics of the quilts she said she had to wait for them to get back from Canada, Well I guess they moved there as she has never posted the pics. My last message to her was did they move to Canada? Oh well she has to live with it if it was just a ploy to get free fabric. Her daughter had thrown out her fabrics because they where in a trash bag. Theres a few in every walk of life just let it go and know them for who they are.
God bless the ones who send and recieve PIF's and or RAKs, And the ones who are Thankful for the recieving and sending such.

Maybe she didn't get it...maybe something happened to her; therefore, like you said; move on! G

I agree wholeheartedly. A while ago I posted that I was in a funk and a member of this board sent me a ladybug pincushion that she made and a 5 x 7" snowman, which I promptly framed and put it on a shelf where I look at it everyday. It is a constant reminder that GB members are utterly awesome!! Thanks for sharing your experience tezell0801.

I love doing a RAK for someone (especially without their knowledge), but it always surprises me to no end when someone does the same for me as I never expect it. Just reading your post today about the kindness shown to you made my heart warm -- thanks!! These RAK's are gifts that just 'keep on giving'....

    LIFE IS GOOD!

RAK are wonderful, in whatever format they arrive.

Good for the quilter that reached out to help. Made my day with that story.
