Bleeding Reds
I have had the same thing happen. Even some gingham on the back of a charity quilt I am still grumbling, but it seem to be the nature of the beast. Every one says just keep washing it, but it will be worn out by the time it quits. I feel your pain.

I just washed a red batik Hawaaian appliqued onto white fabric quilt top. Put in a good glug of synthropol, washed in medium temp machine, dried it. It came out without bleeding..( thank you quilting goddesses!)
