Mae arrived Friday afternoon. I was so excited when I saw the box. The seller said the bobbin thread would not pick up so that was the first thing I wanted to check on.

When I took the bobbin case out, I immediately saw the problem. They had the wrong bobbin. So I went to the sewing center (about 35 miles) and picked up 6 bobbins. Put the new one in and it picked up the bobbin thread no problem. I was doing the happy dance.

I named her Mae after my mamaw that past her love of sewing on to me. I think my first project on her will be one of Mamaw's UFO's that I inherited.

She is just precious!!! Glad you figured out the bobbin issue. I'm sure you and she will spend many happy hours together.

Wow, I have her exact twin sitting right next to me on my desk! (I am supposed to be sewing the borders on my bargello)
