Drue, You definitely deserved a ribbon for that quilt, it is magnificent!!! Did you do it by needle turn applique? If so, can you give me any hints on how to do needle turn applique. I volunteered to finish a king size Hawaiian quilt for a friend whose mom started it, but got Alzheimer and didn't finish it. But my needle turn applique is pathetic. Any tips you could give me would be appreciated (if that is what you used on your masterpiece?) In any case, a huge congratulations to you.

If you go to page 4, post #38, I have explained it...the pattern and the stitching and etc.

I'm still waiting for suggestions for the next quilt, since I think I set my standards way too high for the next quilt! hahaha
