Okay...found the quilt...Here' a picture. We had to use our own background material. And it look's like we also had another bag with 4" square's we cut in triangles.
    Love it!

I did the scrap therapy class....really 2 classes....one concentrates on making you acknowledge and appreciate your bags of scraps and cut them out and in the second class you work on a pattern with the scraps that you've cut. Because of that class and the way they had me reorganize my scraps, I'm working on my 12th and 13th lap quilts using them.

Were they cut into 2 1/2 " strips?, 4-5" squares?

I have taken classes I loved, and classes I hated. I took one from Bonnie Hunter and then became a groupie. She is a great teacher and even though I have been quilting for years, I learned some great tips. Just took a FMQ class from Frieda Anderson, which was great and has given me the courage to go ahead without fear. Took a starch applique class which I didn't like, but it did give me the jumping off point to tweak the skill a bit.

I did a lap quilt in a class - churn dash set on point. I also did a table runner, which I really liked, and a workshop on needleturn applique, which I hated. It was nearly a year ago, and I still haven't finished it!! I like the comraderie of being in a group, but most of my quilts are worked out at home, with a quick call to my local quilt shop for advice if I get in trouble.

Are you asking because you are going to teach a class or you are going to take a class
