    Thanks for all the great ideas. I do have to paint the hives yet.
    I like the thought of making the quilt blocks separate and hanging them on.

    Default Update on bee hive quilts

    I posted earlier on ideas for quilt blocks . These where going to be made like Barn quilts.
    Here is a picture of the out come. Thanks for all the advice.
    I went with
    Honey bee , and Grandmother flower garden.

    Don't look to close I am not a painter. I understand how to post one picture at a time. so will post closer pictures in another post.

    Broomstix They look great! Greet your parents for us. Lost their address! Are you still doing lots of quilts? Can you show some pictures. If they are as nice as your painting they will be gorgeous!

    Oh...what a cute idea! They look great. Now you can identify each hive box by its quilt motif. Wonderful idea!
