How about a shadowbox or windowpane effect?
This gets my vote. You enough panels to do more than one so you can change them every so often.

The pattern is for 10 3/4 in by 3 5/8 in rectangles cut from corner to corner at an angle then attach to the 10 in square.
I really like this idea, I think it sets them off really nicely.

I like this one too...it really matches the cats beautifully :D:D:D

You could always make 4 wallhangings, using different ideas and with colors to match the seasons :D:D:D

You could build the blocks up with log cabin strips.

Love the fabric - haven't seen this one before.
Any cats left from your WH - how about a few throw pillows?

Great ideas you guys!! :) :) I really like the two kitty one you did, Grma33. I have another small area of wall where it would fit great! I'm kind of thinking too about how some of you do 'row robins'? Maybe just keep adding different borders, or whatever, around it?

I think I bought this in January (?), at JoAnn's. I would guess they'd still have it.

    :) :)

My Joann's still has it. There is a companion fabric as well. I'm making a quilt for my granddaughter with it right now!
