I am a very new quilter and would like some ideas of easy quilts I can try. Something besides a nine patch or turning twenty. Thanks

I usually recommend Rail Fence for new quilters. Let us know what you decide and post pictures!

Disappearing 9 patch is fun. Yellow Brick Rd is easy too but you are probably ready to tackle something with half sq triangles.

There is a pattern for the Twisted sister quilt on tutorials, it is easy and fun and turns out a striking quilt. It's one of my favorite get it done fast and easy quilts. And welcome.

I know that you stated that you don't want to do a 9P, but check out the 9P Activity on the Home Page (scroll down towards the bottom). There are a lot of variations that you can link to.

    Good Luck!!
