Google "Threads of Love" to see if there is a chapter near you.
I sew for the local chapter, and one of the things we make is burial dresses. I can scan a pattern for you. How much did she weigh?

I was going to mention the same organization. I believe they make/provide burial clothing as well as wraps.

I am so sorry to hear of this heart ache. My prayers are with the family.

In addition to a small quilt to be buried with the baby, I saw where someone made the beaded bracelets with the beads spelling out the baby's name on it. The quilt was buried with the baby but the bracelet was kept by the parents as a remembrance. I thought that was a really special keepsake idea.

How sad...I am so sorry for your cousin's loss...you have gotten some good suggestions from others...I hope your cousin would like something special made to honor her angel baby.

Keeping you and your cousin in my prayers. I think a quilt for burial would be so nice. Again, only if she is agreeable.

Can you make a quilted photo frame so they can put the baby photo in it?

Tears are flowing for your cousin and you for the loss.
If she is not agreeable to any of the ideas previously mentioned...I have made this wall hanging with a larger, traditional star and then emroidered the name of the deceased in the star.
This one was made just to have so I played a little bit with the star shape.

HOW TRAGIC I am so sorry to hear this.I have made a ton of memory quilts but its so personal for the family...some love them some don't. And others it takes a long time to be able to grasp the concept of it. Mention it to your cousin as its meant as a token of love and remembrance. Myself it took me 7 years to be able to touch my Dad's shirts I made a memory quilt out of. Its my avatar...I will keep you and your family in my prayers

Awwwwww. So sorry to hear. Thankfully I have never had to make an "angel" quilt but I am sure someone on this board will be able to help you and come up with something. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

I made a mini receiving blanket out of flannels with angels appliqued on. I gave it to my friend whos baby died with the message that it was a whispering quilt for her to specifically communicate with her daughter. She loved it. Eventually she put it in her daughters memory box. She often says how she treasured the quilt. It was no bigger than a large hankie.
