Ideas for Rear Handles for Tiara on Frame
I have my Tiatra mid arm on a frame and it works great but I'd like to experiment with pantographs.
Any ideas on how to jury-rig some rear handles for it? I have the laser light, but need the rear handles and the ability to control the speed from the back.
Anybody?

Since the Tiara is just a rebadged HandiQuilter Sweet Sixteen, and that is the table version of the Simply Sixteen, you could probably use the handles from Simply Sixteen's "Quilt from the back" kit. That would probably let you rig up the secondary display as well.

You might find those parts cheaper used via the FB Longarms and Accessories for Sale group.

I'd give HQ a call to see if you can use the quilt from the back kit- I think they did away with the conversion kits for the Sweet Sixteen that would have turned it into a Simply Sixteen for frame use so it might not be so easy to add the quilt from the back kit to your Tiara. Do you have your Tiara on a top carriage as well as a bottom carriage? If so, there may be a set of handlebars available for your top carriage.

I worked at a Handi Quilter dealership, and we weren't allowed to even ask if HQ parts would fit on Babylock machines. You'd be better off going straight to a Babylock dealership. Here's what it shows on the Babylock website. https://babylock.com/accessories/qui...ar-handles-kit
However, if you want to rig something, There should be screw holes on the back of the machine that you could screw something on with. But you'd have to find screws with just the right threads to go into the holes. Plus, the computer wouldn't be hooked up, so you wouldn't have stitch regulator, power or needle-up/down.
