    Question Identify this block, please?

My friend got this in a swap and would like to obtain the pattern. Does anyone know the name of the block or where it could found? It's kind of like a double pinwheel but with a little strip added to one half square... Thanks!

In the 2012 Craftsy block of the month there is a block like it that is paper pieced. "Pinwheel", maybe.

Looks like a stack and whack except in two fabrics. There's a tutorial on Connecting Threads.

It is a pinwheel with sashing strips on each side.

Just found it on Blockbase. It is called Pinwheel. Brackman number 1294. Also noted: Grandmother Clark Block 21 in 1931.
