    Default Identify this block

I took a class about 5 years and became sick and stopped quilting. I am just getting back to quilting and found these squares that I had made but don't know what they are called or what pattern they go to. Help!!

I believe the block is called Whirligig if you Google Whirligig quilt block tutorial you will find several examples that look like your block.

Whirlygig is one name, I know it as a traditional block called Houndstooth. There is a new version of Houndstooth now.

M'liss Rae Hawley did a book on fat quarter quilts and it is in there as well.
