    I would wonder just what my dh was up too, like he lost his mind. I am totally into vintage machines and his knows it! So I don't think the Horizon would ever happen, but I certainly wouldn't object either! I got two Janome's and a another one wouldn't hurt my feelings.

    Mine never would do that, but would tell me to go get what I wanted, and he has. That is just as good in my book.

    I would be VERY suspicious. Overblown generous gestures like this don't happen in our house!

    You probably know your husband better than we do: does he do this kind of thing often?

    If there is no obvious "ulterior motive", I would plug it in, lock the door, and just play and enjoy!
