I agree with ctyankee about the magazine having more nice projects besides quilts to make. I don't subscribe to any magazines now. I have too many now. But, if I were to get one, it would be this Quilts and More.

I don't subscribe anymore. About once a month I go to my local Barnes & Noble, & have a coffee while I browse the quilting & sewing magazines.

I do the same thing. I sometimes buy Australian Patchwork and Quilting.

I just subscribed to McCall's and so far the projects have great written instructions and are simple... After reading many of the above responses... I wish I had looked at Quilter's World.

I am not suscribing to any magazines any more. I have enough and when one comes I tear out pages I think I want to keep.

I would go with Block. It's more a book then a magazine and she usually has videos online that you can follow if you get stuck at any point.

Quilters Wold is only one I take by design. Just renewed and got a free calendar full of patterns (12) and many smaller items and clear directions.

This is true and most of the quilts are fairly simple and would make great charity quilts.

I am with AliKat, I quit subscriptions and have coffee at B&N with a quilt magazine- if there is 2 or more projects I want to try I purchase it if not goes back.

Block Magazine from Missouri Star Quilt Co. Jenny does a video tutorial of each project. You can view them at MO Star or on YouTube. The magazine is great for beginners or those who make charity quilts. And there are NO ADS in the magazine. My favorite!
