Followup to mounting Jane
MY heartiest thanks to all who pitched in to help me get some perspective on this. I don't know why it was so hard, seeing as I am a LA already????
I made a set of leaders for the backing, front and middle rail. The batting, draped on the floor, advances with the backing, and the top comes from the third, back rail. I had a small set of clamps that came with my original quilting frame so I moved them up here to anchor the sides.
NOW all I have to do is quilt!
LOL
Thanks again!
(don't hold your breath)

I know nothing about quilting on a frame, but just wanted to say your quilt is just stunning & probably the largest DJ quilt I've ever seen! It will be an heirloom for many generations for sure. Just lovely!
